  • Description: White or faintly yellowish crystalline powder.
  • ldentification: Corresponds to"Identification A,B and C"
    as directed in Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride USP23.
  • Assay: 98.0%---102.0%
  • Chromatographic purity: Individual impurity peak is not more
    than 0.2%,,the sum of all impurity peaks is not more than 0.5%
    and ciprofloxacin ethylenediamine anolog is not more than 0.4%.
  • P H: 3.0--4.5
  • Clarity of solution: A 2.5% W/V solution should be clear and not
    more intensely cloroed than reference solution GY3.
